Oktoberfest 2009

Munich City! A beautiful city with beautiful people and of course, Oktoberfest!

I've never been to Oktoberfest, so I can't really tell what it'd be like. But what I can tell you is really fun.

On Saturday, the people started to gather at Tiffany & Co., so it looked like in the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. They all had breakfast there. Well, breakfast in Bavaria is, of course, including beers. Lots of beers were been drunk. Gals were coming with dirnl (traditional Bavarian female dress), and guys were with lederhose (traditional Bavarian male clothes, pants are made of leather). They look very cute :)

At 12 o'clock, the mayor would hit the gong, and it marked that Oktoberfest has started!
So, if you see people wearing traditional clothes, don't laugh. Cos it is normal during Oktoberfest.

Fall has come :)

This would be my first fall in Munich. Since I moved to Munich, there were tons of things to deal with, that's why I didn't have enough time to pay attention to the "seasons" anymore.

Last Saturday, as I took my 8:28 train to the city center, and I looked at the trees. I realized that fall has come! The leaves, the smog and the temperature. It's been very cold around Starnberg.
And today when I jogged in the morning, I barely see 100 meters away......too foggy.
Anyways, all I wanna say is I love Munich :)

Human beings sometimes can be so "low" and you can never imagine that!
When I was a child, I always laughed as I watched the A Mild cigarette's commercial. The slogan "How low can you go" is still in my head.
So really, how low can you go? Sometimes, I keep asking myself.
I am sure when you went to school, your teachers (any kinds of them) would tell you that we were smarter, better and had higher IQ than any kinds of animals.
Do you think it is right? Are you agree with that? At some points, I can understand that. But it is completely correct. Meh! Ask yourselves......I don't know....
